What is permanent makeup?


Permanent makeup is the implantation of pigment into the dermal layers of the skin called micro-pigmentation.

Does permanent makeup hurt?

The majority of our clients have no issue with the discomfort encountered with our procedures. Most state that the feeling relates to an intense tickling or prickling sensation. Permafaces Permanent Makeup uses a topical anesthetic to help relieve any discomfort.

Who gets permanent makeup?

Everybody is a potential candidate for permanent makeup. Some clients get permanent makeup to simply save time and look better. Other great candidates are individuals with allergies or sensitive skin, bad eyesight, shaky hands, alopecia, eyebrow hair loss and scars.

How long does permanent makeup last?

It is permanent, however, permanent makeup does fade over time. We recommend getting procedures touched up between 3-10 years. Some factors can contribute to fading more quickly than time itself, including sun exposure and the use of glycolic acids, alpha hydroxy, and Retin-A.

What colors are available?

Permafaces Permanent Makeup customizes permanent makeup colors to each individual.

Do you use disposable needles?

Yes, we only use disposable needles.

How long does it take?

Most procedures take about 45 minutes.
